Dave's hut [out in the park]

After having considered the state of the upper stairs of the common house, Dave and his bear, called Slova, have begun to build themselve a house outside in the park.

It can be merely described in the following way: A large wooden shed, connected to a small cave, next to which is a waterfall.

Inside, on the left, you have Slova's quarter: a rough stony floor, covered with dry grass, on which the bear sleeps.
On the right, you have the entrance of the cave, witch is simply arranged with a large bed, a small desk on which lies a big red book, a fireplace with a nice fire lit in, and a couple of chairs. The light of the sun comes in through a hole on the roof, blinded by a thin glass window.
In the middle, you find a common place, with a sofa, a big dinner table and sort of a kitchen.

A sign reads on the door: "Beware of the Bear" and next "You're welcome here."

*leaves a big pot of honey for the bear*

***Slova slowly goes out of her lair, considers the honey pot, then smiles widely***

To the bewilderment of Pyon, she says in a hush, feminine, sexy voice:

"Well many thanks, Pyonjinguk, your gift is highly appreciated! Please be considered as welcome here for as long as you wish if you want to share this honypot with me. "

*** Then realises that it has taken so long for her to put these words together that Pyon is already long gone***

..... ........ .......

You're welcome?

Who....is.....Dave?

Kindjal jumps on Eaghenn's back, who avoids another heart attack.

"Heya Eggy ! You came to visit Dave ? Aurora, whatever !"

Then she comes closer to Pyon who is facing the bear.

"Eh ? Something's wrong ? You look like you've just seen a ghost !"

And I didn't had the chance to frighten you... next time Pyon, next time !

***Slova slowly gets out of her lair and points her nose at Eaghenn***

She mutters in plausible english:

"Hello Eggy, I happend to know that you seek my master."

She speaks then in french:

"Regarde dans la maison, la ou il y a à manger. Il ne peut être loin."

***Aurora comes back quickly from the house, the mouth now empty of the goods scientifically piled during the brief lunch. ***

"Greetings mates! Would you mind to come in?"

*** Gently settles everyone around the big table, and bring some more honey for Slova.***

"Help yourselves! Have a lunch. It is not like we were all starving, but... Mind you, these days..."

"So, I am happy to introduce you Slova. She is my second though, and my first bear. As you know, in Aurora Chimaera, it's our national animal, and I treasure my little slova as a good friend!"

"How do you find my new little place? feel confortable?"

Kindjal stares at Slova then Dave then back to Slova, then back to Dave

"You know, this is somehow illegal here... with wild animals... not to mention you might get scratches..."

Good thing he decided to live out there, I would be worrying for Schrödinger all the time

"Well she's not wild anymore... You know, she can even talk, and she wouldn't hurt a puppy!"

***gently pats Slova's head, who shudders and moans happily***

"For the scratches she knows the rules. I always have place outside, and I don't share my bed with a bear!"

"I see..."

Then Kindjal suddenly leaps on Slova and tries to tear her fur away, screaming :
"Come on ! Remove that disguise ! I know bears can't talk ! And thistle can't hear !"

***Slova looks terrified and runs near Dave, tries to hide behind him***

"Oh please. Don't hurt my bear! She won't defend herself, but don't push too hard either. She's a bear. She's well trained, and she's nice to people. So please stay back."

***softly pushes back Kindjal and takes Slova in his arms***

"Here, here, calm down. Excuse the lady, my Slova. She wasn't aware that you could talk. They don't know that you bears can talk, in these southern countries. I knew I shan't have taken you with me. Here, dont panic, calm down."

*** Slova moves her grey eyes towards Kindjal, with tears in the glance and says***

"You see, you've turn to human from apes. We turn to speaking bears from bears. Nothing different. Enfin je vous pardonne, mais appréciez moi pour ce que je suis."

***And Dave adds***

"Well. Here we are. Now please forget it. Slova ain't no thistle, and I don't have any clues of where that shy little flower can be!"

Kindjal stares at Dave and Slova, still suspicious.

I'll find the zip... no matter how long I'll have to look for it...

She decides to play the nice girl and answers :

"My bad ! I never met an actual talking bear until now... I'm sure we're going to be good friends. I even volunteer to give you a bath."

and she makes that suspicious glance again.

"That's the most conveluted way of getting your hand in her thick fur I've ever heard"

***Dave bursts into laugh***

"Still, no problem at all, Slova positively adores having a bath. As long as they are ice cold, of course."

"Now, talking of baths, where are the others? The thistle? And so on?"

Kindjal wrote:

*mental note: watch back at all times when Kindjal is not present*

A bear bath, huh? Should I go get some buckets or something...?

"I think we can use the pond here.
It's so cold out there I would not be surprised to see ice cubes in it...
This way Slova will surely feel home"

and confident and when she's not paying attention anymore...

"Well we will see... What about you all? Do you like my new home? I apologize for not beeing able to fit in your house, but I tought we may aswell have more room that way!"

*and thinks*

"and it smells better here..."

"I'm sure you'll both be fine here !" answers Kindjal with a smile.

"This way I'll be able to keep Schrödinger away from you, weirdo !"

***considers Kindjal up and down, with respect in the gaze.***

"Well Kin, thanks you for everything, I wouldn't be there without you!"

"Hu ? Why are you saying that ?
I'm not the one that invited you to the flat,
and you decided to live in the park anyway
so I don't see how I did anything..."

She scratches her hair.

Why is he staring at me ? Ok... I'm officially scared...

Kindjal tries to get closer to Eggy for him to protect her :p

"Well, right. Hard to thank a thistle, though. And you're the one who own the house, ain't you?"

***Seems sorry***

"Errr no, I don't know why you think that ! Guys here are not my harem either ! I just happen to be the only speaking girl who agreed to share the flat (and the rent) with them all !

Sometimes the landlord let people in that don't even talk to us, some stay, some leave... This surely is a weird flat...

But I like it that way, as long as I got some good company !"

"Oh far from me the idea of thinking of this place as a Harem, of course! What do you mean by the "only speaking girl"? ***Singes brackets with his fingers*** Is the thistle over there in the living room what you call a non speaking lady?"

***Laughs***

"Then thanks anyway, I feel happy here, and I hope I won't be too much of a bad company!"

"I don't know, might be some silent girls... I'm just not sure about it...
The thistle ? I think I'm going to get rid of it soon... It's not very useful, and it's all withered !"

"Well we shall see! Get rid of the thistle?`Oh, I just thought it was part of the furniture, like... Well, you know, dust, and so on. By the way I volunteer to do the dish washing, if you don't mind! Love taking part on community's life"
